Jon is a South Florida native that currently resides in Coral Gables with his wife Cristina. He Joined Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate in 2006 while still attending Florida International University, where he completed his bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in Psychology along with a Master’s degree in the FIU College of Education. During this time, he learned the ins and outs of the business under the tutelage of The Gilman Team, consisting of his mother and father, Jim and Sonia Gilman; a powerhouse couple annual award-winning team that always finished in the top 1% of producers nationwide.
Throughout the years Jon has gained valuable first-hand experience in all aspects of the industry, having worked with seller and buyers throughout the peaks and troughs of the economy; and managing several properties throughout South Florida. Jon also continued his real estate education by obtaining a Brokers license in 2017. With this experience and knowledge, along with the understanding of people, Jon utilizes his expertise and negotiation skills to always obtain the best deal possible for his clients within the confines of the market place.
Cristina comes from Spain with a family history in real estate development focused primarily between Castilla La Mancha and La Comunidad Valenciana. Three generations of building and developing focused primarily on residential housing in areas where the population has been ever-growing with both local residence and tourism.
She has spent her last ten years as a flight attendant working for Scandinavian and European Airlines such as Ryanair and Norwegian Air Shuttle.
Cristina married Jon in 2017, after meeting him nine years earlier, each on their own individual vacation trip, in Greece.
Now they team together to form a professional and personable husband and wife duo that can reach each individuals’ real estate needs and desires by really listening, understanding and doing.
Cristina has already brought over her international contacts, listing a high-end condo on Miami Beach owned by a Spanish National as well as a 16th century “Palacete” en Chinchilla, Castilla La Mancha.
